What is something personal you’d like to share about yourself?

I just love to learn and create! My favorite quote: “I’m not sure where I’m going but I promise it won’t be boring". -David Bowie

How did you find ceramics?

After starting a creative space (Open House Creative) in Costa Mesa back in 2014, I realized that ceramic was a medium I really wanted to explore further.

Who are your influences?

Studio floris wubben, Eric Roinestad, Jonathan Adler, and much more

How would you describe your work?

My work is a mix of handbuilding and wheel-throwing. I like the balance of the two, I would like to evolve my work into sculptural art.

Why do you love/what do you love about ceramics?

It’s my meditation and happy place, I love building things with my hands. As a graphic Designer I spent so much time on the computer and ceramic allow me to break from it.

If you had to choose one, Handbuilding or Wheel-Throwing? Why?

I really can’t, I love them both equally, but I would say the wheel is very meditating for me and handbuilding can me challenging but so creative.
